If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the past few years, it’s that life can change in an instant. You never know what new situations or experiences will be brought your way, or how those experiences will change your life forever. It’s up to you to make changes in your life to experience something new and go in a new direction.

In my own experiences, I’ve learned that taking risks to explore new possibilities is always worth it – you never know what you’re going to learn or gain from it. I’ve had one defining moment that completely changed the direction my life was going in. Prior to this change, sports were the focus of my life, but now I had to decide whether to continue in the same path I was going in or to follow this new interest that stood before me. (more…)

Having your own piano could be a first step in building up a great a career in music. Add some talent and a well selected piano may actually boost you right on the stage, where you could have your own gigs and where you could even earn real fans. But how do you choose the right piano for you?

First of all, you should decide whether you want an acoustic piano or a digital piano. Acoustic pianos are obviously much more appreciated and can offer a greater sound than digital ones. But the disadvantage is that they are very expensive and you have to clear an entire room just to have enough space to fit it. For a beginner though, a digital piano is one of the best choices. Even though they are not seen very well by professional piano players, for you it’s enough. If it contains all the 88 keys and three pedals, you are right on track. Playing a Folk Roots dulcimer can be very relaxing and fun.  Folkcraft instruments are unique, and they are great for people who want to make original music that has soul and sounds great.  Music has been used by people throughout the world for thousands of years as a way to come together, inspire, and release stress.  Folk instruments reflect this age-old tradition in the best possible way because they are where music truly began.  Dulcimers are one of the favorite folk musical instruments among people who want to play something that’s different and yet distinctly traditional.  Their simple and yet beautiful sounds, makes dulcimers a wonderful choice for all music lovers.
